JustWax SP600 professional wax is ready to use, for making candles in silicone molds and tarts
🕯️ JustWax SP600 Professional Wax
Professional premium wax for pillar candles, silicone molds, and tarts
JustWax SP600 wax is a professional, strong, and powerful formula designed for making pillar candles without containers, complex dessert candles, wax melts (tarts), and decorative candles in silicone molds. The wax is based on vegetable soy wax combined with a precise percentage of high-quality paraffin, which enhances the candle's rigidity and significantly boosts its scent throw. The wax comes ready for use, requires only a single pour, and features a controlled, slight shrinkage upon cooling, ensuring easy, quick, and exceptionally smooth release from complex silicone molds without imperfections.
📊 Performance Metrics & Technical Guidelines:
🧵 Wick Selection and Fragrance Guidelines:
- Wick Selection: Since pillar and sculptural candles require stable burning power, it is recommended to use thick wicks from the TCR series (for example: TCR 27/16 to TCR 33/20). The precise choice always depends on the candle's diameter and size, and it is highly recommended to perform preliminary tests.
- 🧪 Optimal Fragrance Oil Dosage: Wax for silicone molds is made harder to maintain the shape of the sculpted element. Although you can add up to 7% fragrance, it is recommended to stay within the range of 3% - 5% fragrance oil (with a dosage of 4% being entirely sufficient). Adding too much can soften the wax and compromise the candle's finish and hardness.
📋 Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Heating: Heat the wax carefully to a temperature of 70°C - 80°C, and no higher.
- Combining and Mixing: Add your chosen fragrance oil and color, and stir gently for at least three minutes for full and uniform integration into the mixture.
- Pouring: Pour the wax into the silicone molds at a precise temperature of 65°C for smooth surfaces and a clean finish.
⚡ Microwave Heating Instructions: The wax can be safely melted in the microwave. First, heat until the wax becomes liquid, then continue heating in short 10-second intervals, carefully checking the temperature after each round (extreme overheating can damage the additives and the quality of the wax).
