🕯️ JustWax C100 Coconut Wax

Premium 100% natural and ecological wax for candles in glass containers and jars

🥥 100% plant-based coconut 🌱 Biodegradable, vegan, and eco-friendly 🚫 Soy-free, palm-free, paraffin-free, Non-GMO

We are excited to introduce JustWax C100 – a luxurious and innovative addition to the JustWax family of plant-based waxes. This wax comes in small, convenient white pellets and is a 100% natural blend primarily based on high-quality coconut wax combined with natural additives that provide uncompromising performance. It features a unique brilliant white color, ensures phenomenal adhesion to the walls of glass containers, and creates a smooth and even top surface with just one pour. The wax is fully biodegradable, free from genetically modified materials, and provides exceptionally powerful scent throw – both when the candle is lit (Hot Throw) and unlit (Cold Throw).

📊 Performance Metrics and Technical Guidelines:

🎯 Scent Throw (Cold/Hot) 10 / 10
🥥 Wax Shade Brilliant White
Smooth Finish (Top Surface) Single Pour
🧪 Maximum Fragrance Oil Capacity Up to 12%
🌡️ Recommended Pouring Temp 60°C
🔥 Melting/Heating Temp 70°C - 80°C

🧵 Wick Selection and Working Instructions:

  • Wick Selection: For this coconut wax, we recommend working with the TCR series – advanced ecological wicks perfectly suited for plant-based waxes, ensuring clean, balanced, and soot-free burning.
  • 🧪 Fragrance Load and Dosage: The wax has an exceptional fragrance oil carrying capacity of up to 12% (use high-quality fragrance oils designed for natural waxes). As with all candle making, we recommend thorough testing with every combination of wax, fragrance, and wick.

📋 Step-by-Step Usage Instructions:

  1. Heating and Melting: Melt and heat the wax to a temperature range of 70°C - 80°C.
  2. Mixing and Blending: Add the desired fragrance oil and color, and gently and continuously stir for about 3 full minutes to ensure optimal binding and complete integration.
  3. Pouring: Pour the wax into the containers or jars at a precise temperature of 60°C for a smooth and aesthetic finish.

Microwave Heating Instructions: The wax pellets can be easily melted in a microwave. First, heat until the wax becomes liquid, then continue heating in short 10-second intervals, stirring gently and carefully checking the temperature after each round (it is advisable to completely avoid overheating, which can damage the natural structure of the wax).

🛠️ Additional Equipment You'll Need for Candle Making
  • 💡 Digital Thermometer: Essential for maintaining accurate heating temperatures (70°C-80°C) and measuring the correct pouring temperature (60°C).
  • ⚖️ Digital Scale: For accurate weighing of liquid wax and calculating the percentage of added fragrance oils (up to 12%).
  • 🧪 Heat-Resistant Melting Vessel: A dedicated plastic pitcher with measurement markings for microwave use, or a dedicated metal vessel for melting using the double boiler method.
💡 Golden Tips for Working with Plant-Based Coconut Wax
  • 🌱 Consistent Room Temperature Control: Natural coconut wax is sensitive to rapid climate changes during the hardening and crystallization process in the container. It is recommended to ensure that the curing room is maintained at a stable temperature of 20°C - 25°C for a uniform finish.
  • 🔥 Correcting Cosmetic Imperfections with a Heat Gun: Although this wax is designed for a flat finish in a single pour, adding a high percentage of fragrance oils can sometimes create small cracks due to shrinkage. A quick and gentle pass with a heat gun will immediately smooth the surface.
  • 🎨 Perfect Color Dispersion: To ensure that color chips or ecological pigment dissolve uniformly in the liquid wax without sediment, it is recommended to incorporate them during the high heating stage (80°C) and stir continuously for 2 - 3 full minutes.
