Step-by-Step Instructions
- Cut & Melt: Cut the soap base into small cubes and melt it in the microwave (in 30-second bursts) or over a double boiler until it becomes a smooth, completely melted liquid.
- Measure Temperature: Let the melted soap cool slightly and check it with your digital thermometer (it is highly recommended to add fragrance oils around 60-65°C).
- Add Fragrance & Mix: Pour in your chosen fragrance oils and stir thoroughly using the stirring rod to ensure an even scent distribution.
- Pour & Cool: Carefully pour the liquid into your silicone molds and allow it to cool and harden completely before removing.
Safety & Warnings
- Raw materials are intended for soap-making purposes only.
- In case concentrated fragrance oil (prior to dilution) comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with running water. If redness or irritation develops, consult a physician.
- Keep out of reach of children under the age of 13 without adult supervision.
- Hot melted soap base can cause burns. Maintain a safe distance from children and pets during the melting and pouring process.
- When crafting with children, it is recommended to work at moderate temperatures (around 70°C) under the full supervision of an adult.
