How it all began?
Our journey began out of a love for candles – for the light, the scents, the aesthetics – and especially for what they create in our lives: moments of calm, atmosphere, connection. Like many, we also started at home – in the kitchen, with a small pot, some wax, and a lot of curiosity.
We soon realized that there was a real demand for high-quality products that would allow people to make candles themselves, to a high standard and with enjoyment. This is how the idea of establishing Sheananda was born – a small Israeli business with a big heart, connecting the worlds of design, DIY, and the healing power of creation.
The name "Sheananda" combines the word "Shea" – a yearning for excellence, precision, and quality – with the Sanskrit word "Ananda" (Ānanda), which means supreme bliss.
